Leaseweb and ITQ partner to deliver VMware Cloud Foundation services

Leaseweb has formed a strategic partnership with VMware consultancy ITQ to deliver VMware Cloud Foundation( VCF) services across Europe. The agreement builds on Leaseweb’ s recent appointment as a Broadcom VMware Cloud Service Provider( VCSP) Pinnacle partner. Under the partnership, ITQ has selected Leaseweb as its infrastructure provider for VMware Cloud Foundation services delivered through the VCSP programme.

Customers using VMware cloud services through ITQ will be supported by Leaseweb’ s hybrid cloud infrastructure, combining ITQ’ s VMware migration and advisory services with Leaseweb’ s Infrastructureas-a-Service( IaaS) platform.
According to the companies, the partnership is intended to support organisations adopting VMware Cloud Foundation while addressing data sovereignty and regulatory compliance requirements through European-based infrastructure.
“ VMware Cloud Foundation represents the future of private cloud infrastructure, and this partnership ensures our customers have access to it through an authorised and sovereign hybrid cloud solution,” said Lex Boost, Co-Chief Executive Officer, Leaseweb.“ ITQ’ s expertise in VMware environments is widely recognised, and their decision to select us as their exclusive VCF infrastructure partner reflects the strength of our expertise and commitment to excellence.”
“ We are partnering with Leaseweb for all Broadcom VMware VCSP partners in Europe. Our combination of knowledge, expertise and scalable IaaS platforms is truly unique. Together we offer a safe haven for all non-renewing Broadcom VMware VCSP partners seeking continuity in their market offering, and all parties looking to build out VMware VCF 9. x and their VMware Cloud Foundation Strategy,” said Francisco Perez van der Oord, Founder and President, ITQ.
