Akamai strengthens channel-first strategy in Asia Pacific and Japan

Akamai has announced the appointment of Fiona Zhang as Regional Vice President, Channel Sales and Programmes for Asia Pacific and Japan, reinforcing its commitment to a channel-first growth strategy and the critical role partners play in scaling its cloud and security business across the region.

That momentum continues to grow.

Sean Li, Vice President and Managing Director of Greater China, Akamai, said:“ Our channel ecosystem is fundamental to Akamai’ s growth strategy. Fiona’ s leadership will be instrumental in strengthening our partner network and enabling our partners to capture these opportunities across the region.”

Service Provider Central will offer a single pane of glass through Nutanix Central, enabling providers to run multiple tenants with automated workflows on shared infrastructure without compromising control or compliance.
Nutanix is also offering onboarding incentives to accelerate service provider transitions from VMware, helping providers avoid paying full costs for both platforms during migration.
“ Service providers are playing an increasingly critical role in helping organisations modernise and adopt flexible cloud operating models, particularly across the Middle East and Africa. With our enhanced multitenant capabilities and partner programmes, we are enabling providers to scale efficiently, deliver differentiated services and support customers as they transition to hybrid multicloud environments with greater confidence and control,” said Shaista Ahmed, Director, Channel and OEM Sales, Middle East and Africa at Nutanix.
