Westcon-Comstor brings Meter’ s enterprise networking solution to EMEA channel

S estcon-Comstor, a global technology distributor specialising in cybersecurity, networking and hybrid cloud solutions, has announced it has signed a new distribution agreement with Networking-as-a-Service pioneer Meter.

The deal sees Westcon-Comstor become Meter’ s first distributor in Europe Middle East and Africa, allowing the region’ s channel partners to leverage a full-stack networking solution that offers rapid onboarding, simple deployment and a fast route to profitability.
By adding Meter to its networking vendor portfolio Westcon is enabling partners to generate new opportunities and unlock budget-constrained deals, capturing margin-rich recurring revenue in the growing Networkingas-a-Service market without needing to invest in additional skills and go-to-market resource.
Westcon will scale adoption of Meter’ s Networking-as-a-Service solution by upskilling and enabling partners through its range of value-added services, from training and education to data-led insights and solution lifecycle management.
Founded in California in 2015, Meter is reimagining networking with a unified offering that bundles hardware, software and managed services into a single subscription.
Its model simplifies pricing by basing it on a customer’ s site size rather than the number of individual devices, making costs predictable and scalable while removing the need for upfront capital investment.
Meter differentiates from traditional network vendors through its vertically integrated full-stack approach. Its solution is engineered with a single operating system powering switching, Wi-Fi, unified security and power, making it suited to organisations with distributed environments across sectors including retail, logistics and higher education.
Meter’ s service includes co-managed deployment, ongoing support and lifecycle upgrades, removing hidden costs and operational burdens for partners and customers.
Daniel Hurel, Senior Vice President Westcon EMEA go-to-market at Westcon-Comstor, said:“ Meter offers a fresh simple and profitable approach to networking that directly addresses partner needs while adding a new dimension to our networking vendor portfolio. This is a true utility network model, perfect for the channel. The combination of Meter’ s technology and our value-added distribution capabilities will unlock growth potential for partners across the EMEA region.”
Adam Ulfers, Head of Sales and Channel at Meter, said:“ We are excited to bring our enterprise networking offering to the EMEA channel through our agreement with Westcon-Comstor. Their channel reach networking expertise and data-driven approach make them the ideal partner to help us scale and deliver simpler more secure and more scalable networking across the region.” •
