ServiceNow to acquire Armis to expand cyberexposure and security across full attack surface

ServiceNow has entered into an agreement to acquire Armis for US $ 7.75 billion in cash, significantly expanding its security and risk capabilities across enterprise IT, operational technology, medical devices and cyber-physical environments. Armis is a leader in cyber exposure management, helping organisations, governments and operators of critical infrastructure manage risk across their entire connected technology footprint.

The acquisition will extend ServiceNow’ s security workflow portfolio and accelerate its roadmap towards AI-native, proactive cybersecurity. Together, ServiceNow and Armis will create a unified security exposure and operations stack that can see, decide and act across the entire technology estate by linking real-time asset discovery, threat intelligence and risk prioritisation with automated remediation and response workflows.
Security remains a top priority for executive leadership as organisations expand their use of AI. Global end-user spending on information security is projected to rise 12.5 % in 2026 to reach US $ 240 billion, driven by escalating threats and the growing adoption of AI and Generative AI. As AI increases organisational attack surfaces, real-time visibility into vulnerabilities and clear prioritisation of remediation actions have become critical.“ ServiceNow is building the security platform of tomorrow,” said Amit Zavery, President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Product Officer, ServiceNow.“ In the Agentic AI era, intelligent trust and governance across any cloud, asset or device are essential. Together with Armis, we will deliver proactive, end-to-end protection across entire technology estates.” •
