ENTERPRISE TECHNOLOGY
data and challenges. It’ s through these spaces that we help customers unlock the full potential of technologies like AI and cloud, aligned to their business goals. We have both the scale and credibility that customers, as well as technology vendors, look for in a trusted partner.
When designing solutions for customers, what criteria do you prioritise in selecting the right technology partner?
We select our partners based on strategic alignment, technical excellence and the ability to co-create value for clients. We prioritise partners that complement our mission to deliver transformative IT solutions, especially those with strong capabilities in cloud, AI, security and automation. Certifications, proven delivery track records, and innovation potential are key factors in the vetting process.
Global reach and scalability are also essential, as DXC serves enterprise clients across diverse industries and geographies. Partners must be able to support complex, mission-critical systems and collaborate on joint go-to-market strategies.
The ecosystem thrives on co-development, shared objectives, and continuous performance evaluation through certifications, customer success, and industry recognition. Our AI Workbench isa good example of this. It brings together leading partner capabilities, including AWS and Microsoft, to help organisations rapidly explore, test and deploy AI use cases tailored to their industry.
Can you walk us through a recent project where DXC acted as the bridge between customer needs and the right vendor solution?
One example that demonstrates this is our work with Ventia. As a large essential infrastructure service provider, their business is heavily reliant on successfully responding to highly complex tenders. Each proposal must be tailored, accurate, and timely, especially when bidding for largescale, multi-million-dollar contracts. But assembling these responses often involved manually sourcing information from vast document libraries, a process that could take days and tie up valuable resources.
We partnered with them to transform this critical process using AI and cloud technologies. Together we developed Tendia, an AI-powered bid writing solution built on AWS services including Amazon Bedrock, Fargate, Kendra and Cognito. The platform was trained on Ventia’ s previous submissions and internal knowledge base, enabling it to understand context, source relevant information quickly and generate draft responses in minutes.
The results have been significant. Ventia has not only cut bid preparation time drastically, but also improved the quality and consistency of proposals. More importantly, it has freed up their teams to focus on higher-value, strategic thinking, which gives them a competitive edge in a fast-moving market. It’ s a clear example of how the right technology, aligned with business goals, can open up new possibilities.
