Octopi Distribution appointed as strategic HP Managed Print Solutions distributor in Southern Africa
Octopi Distribution, a subsidiary of the Octopi Group, has officially been appointed as a dedicated HP Managed Print Solutions distributor serving the South African and broader African market.
The company has secured Tier 1 distribution rights for HP’ s A3 and A4 managed print solutions across Southern Africa, representing a major milestone for the newly formed company.
This strategic partnership with HP positions Octopi Distribution as a leading distributor and service provider of specialised managed print solutions, supporting a select group of Tier 2 channel partners and resellers across the region with innovative, reliable and customer-focused printing solutions and services.
Recognising the need in the market for a distributor with a strong contractual background coupled with specialised MPS expertise, Octopi Distribution was formed to address the evolving needs of businesses seeking comprehensive, enterprise-grade print solutions. Unlike traditional distributors focused on transactional print products, Octopi Distribution’ s exclusive focus on contractual MPS ensures its partners have access to unparalleled support, technical expertise and a comprehensive suite of services.
“ HP Southern Africa is pleased to welcome Octopi Distribution as our new Tier 1 partner. We are confident that they will play a pivotal role in expanding our A3 and A4 managed print services across the country and into Africa. Octopi Distribution’ s deep industry knowledge, agile nature and customer centricity align perfectly with our ambition of delivering best-in-class managed print services,” said Yesh Surjoodeen, Managing Director at HP Southern Africa.
