The company specialises in designing , deploying , and operating VMware Cloud Provider Platforms , and maintains a strategic , neutral GTM approach . Routed delivers its VMware Cloud services through a white-label model with partners , and also acts as a transparent engineering partner , managing VMware Cloud solutions on behalf of its partners .
This setup enables partners to retain an independent GTM strategy while benefiting from Routed ’ s expertise . In his role , Lee focuses on enhancing both the product and GTM delivery models to align with Routed ’ s strategic goals and growing market presence .
What are the strengths that you bring to this role ?
Lee brings over a decade of experience in the technology sector , with a distinguished career that began as a Technical Instructor . This role established a strong foundation in Microsoft , Cisco , and VMware technologies , which proved invaluable in his subsequent career . Lee ’ s impactful eight-year tenure at VMware significantly shaped his expertise .
Initially focused on supporting commercial and channel business sectors , Lee ’ s role evolved to encompass a broad range of responsibilities , including technical architecture , engineering , productization , sales , and go-to-market strategies .
During this period , he collaborated with over 60 VMware Cloud Service Providers across Sub-Saharan Africa , gaining comprehensive experience that is crucial for his current position at Routed , collaborating with Routed ’ s partners to jointly develop their cloud businesses . Lee ’ s in-depth knowledge of VMware cloud solutions and channel dynamics equips him to drive strategic initiatives and support the company ’ s mission to expand its influence in the market .
