Tarkan Maner joins Nutanix as Chief
Commercial Officer
Nutanix, a leader in enterprise cloud
computing, has announced that it
has appointed Tarkan Maner as Chief
Commercial Officer.
Maner will lead Nutanix’s global business
development and corporate development
efforts, with a focus on strategic
partnerships, alliances, system integrators
and service providers.

Maner’s responsibilities will include
leading critical hybrid cloud-focused strategy
and product teams, including Nutanix’s core
virtualisation platform (AHV), softwaredefined
networking and some of the key
hybrid cloud services: End User Computing
(Xi Frame), Database-as-a-Service (Era), DRas-a-Service
(Xi Leap), Xi Partner Network
(XPN) and Solutions Engineering.
Tarkan Maner, Chief Commercial Officer, Nutanix
Maner brings more than 25 years
of experience as an executive at
disruptive technology companies in the
IT infrastructure space. Most recently, he
served as Chairman and CEO at Nexenta
Systems, Inc, leading the organisation from
its open-source focus through its acquisition
by DataDirect Networks (DDN) in May 2019.

Veeam appoints Danny Allan as Chief
Technology Officer
Veeam Software has announced that
Danny Allan has been appointed Chief
Technology Officer (CTO) and Senior Vice
President (SVP) of Product Strategy.
Allan, promoted from his previous role
as Vice President (VP) of Product Strategy,
will lead Veeam’s global product strategy
group and initiatives and spearhead the
company’s technology vision as the number
one provider of backup solutions that deliver
Cloud Data Management.
“Danny has had a significant impact on
Veeam’s vision and strategic direction since
joining the company in early 2017 and has
been instrumental in cementing our market
leadership,” said Ratmir Timashev, Co-

and Marketing at Veeam.
