OPSWAT opens first India office and Critical Infrastructure Protection lab
Bengaluru facility will provide local support and allow customers and partners to test cybersecurity defences across IT and Operational Technology environments.

OPSWAT has opened its first office and Critical Infrastructure Protection( CIP) lab in India, providing customers and channel partners with local engineering and sales support.

Located in Bengaluru, the facility will enable visitors to test cybersecurity defences against simulated attack scenarios across IT and Operational Technology( OT) environments.
The office will also provide technology demonstrations, executive briefings and workshops, as well as facilities for working with channel partners and systems integrators.“ The new Bengaluru office lets us collaborate directly with customers and partners in the region to address India’ s growing cyber needs,” said Nith Mehta, India General Manager at OPSWAT.“ Meanwhile, the
CIP lab lets visitors run through simulations of real-world cyber scenarios, so they can see how our technology performs against the threats they are actually facing.”
Bengaluru is a major technology centre and supports industries including information technology, biotechnology, aerospace and food processing, several of which operate critical infrastructure requiring cybersecurity protection.
OPSWAT employees, customers, prospects and partners attended the facility’ s opening on August 19.
