Tenable joins OpenAI Daybreak Cyber Partner Programme

Tenable has announced it is working with OpenAI as part of the OpenAI Daybreak Cyber Partner Programme. The collaboration combines OpenAI’ s AI capabilities with Tenable’ s exposure management platform to help organisations identify, prioritise and respond to cyber-risks.

The collaboration comes as AI continues to reshape the cybersecurity landscape, with attackers using AI to accelerate reconnaissance, automate vulnerability discovery and reduce the time between exposure and exploitation. The Tenable One Exposure Management Platform combines exposure intelligence from across the attack surface with contextual analysis to help organisations
identify and prioritise the exposures that present the greatest risk.
The collaboration will focus on:
• Advancing cybersecurity research and exposure intelligence
Eric Doerr, Chief Product Officer, Tenable
• Accelerating the identification and prioritisation of exploitable exposures and attack paths
• Improving how security teams prioritise, validate and respond to exposures
• Streamlining security operations and accelerating risk reduction
“ The AI era requires a fundamentally new approach to cybersecurity,” said Eric Doerr, Chief Product Officer, Tenable.“ Attackers are moving faster and operating at a scale that makes purely reactive security untenable. As part of OpenAI’ s Trusted Access for Cyber programme, Tenable is evaluating how GPT-5.5 can help accelerate defensive workflows through secure product integrations, enabling customers to stay ahead of attackers and move faster with confidence. This is what proactive security looks like in practice.”
