Excel develops
Environ range with
Co-Lo Racks

Excel Networking Solutions, the copper and optical
cabling infrastructure provider, has launched a new
Environ floor standing rack into its existing portfolio of
Networking Racks and Open Frames says Ross McLetchie,
Excel’s Director of Sales for the Middle East.

ased on the proven and popular
ER series chassis, Excel’s CL series
of multi-compartment floor-
standing racks are available in 42U or
47U heights, 600mm or 800mm wide,
grey, white or black, and in a choice of
two or four compartments. With this
flexibility and with each compartment
being created by the use of a full depth
dividing panel, the CL Series racks have
been designed specifically with co-
location installations and applications
that require enhanced levels of access
security in mind. As such, these racks are
intended for use by facilities where rack
space is being used by different enterprise
departments or clients within a shared
facility, such as datacentres.
Similar to the existing rack portfolio,
the CL Series are compatible with the
full range of Environ Locking Solutions,
enabling customers to choose from digital
key code, proximity card or biometric
locking configurations.

as standard, and restricted access to the
vertical cable management from one
compartment to another.
As with all Environ cabinets, racks
and open frames, the Co-Location Series
is driven by simplicity, performance and
flexibility. The CL Series’ racks feature in
the new Environ catalogue and the Excel
website. The Environ catalogue features
close up photographs of the Co-Location
Racks and comparison charts, to help
clearly identify which of the Environ Racks
is most suitable.
The rise of the brand reflects a growing
demand throughout EMEA for a reliable,
standards-compliant, readily available,
structured cabling and rack system. Excel is
able to deliver this mix as a result of strict
European quality assurance and a growing
base of distributors and integrators across
EMEA, which combine to make the brand
