Qlik partners with Finesse to give data
a voice with Qlik Sense Tour 2017
Finesse, a leading system integration
company, together with Qlik, a leader in
data analytics, has announced that it has
successfully concluded the Mumbai leg of
Qlik Sense Tour 2017. The event was one of
a series of more than 100 events in cities
across Asia Pacific (APAC) and Europe, the
Middle East and Africa (EMEA) dedicated to
demonstrating to organisations how they can
give their data a voice, helping organisations
understand how to listen to what their data
has to say, and to end data silence.
Qlik Sense Tour 2017 Mumbai was
designed to help attendees discover the
new era of analytics that goes beyond the
linear and limited options of the past. To
showcase how more flexible data analytics
platforms can deliver actionable insights by
giving data a voice, delegates were given
product demonstrations and heard from
Qlik’s customers and Finesse. Close to 100
attendees took the opportunity to discover
the benefits that other Qlik and Finesse
clients have derived from unleashing their
data and letting it do the talking.
According to Sunil Paul, Co-Founder and
COO of Finesse, a leading global system
integration partner for Qlik, “Finesse is
always committed to innovation and

protection
Attivo Networks, a leader in deception
technology for cybersecurity defence,
has announced that Attivo ThreatDefend
now integrates with the McAfee ePolicy
Orchestrator (McAfee ePO) platform to
provide a comprehensive solution for
advanced threat management and response.
This technology integration combines
the Attivo ThreatDefend Platform with
the McAfee ePO console for increased
detection of in-network threats and detailed
transformation. The BI and
visual analytics features
along with the intelligent
AI driven chatbot will
provide additional value
to our clients across
industries as they embark
on their digital journey.”
Along with the chance
to gain exclusive insights
into Qlik’s product
roadmap and applications,
there were opportunities
to network and learn from
peers, customers and
the Qlik community; as
well as to hear from Qlik
experts themselves based
in different industries,
including manufacturing,
IoT, automotive and retail.
Souma Das, Managing
Director, Qlik India, commented, “Qlik Sense
Tour is one of the highlights in our calendar
and each year it gets bigger and better. We’re
in a new age of data analytics, and gone
are the days of limited and linear models;
your data has so much to say, but these old
practices are stifling it, keeping it quiet for too long. To truly bring your data to life and make
real impactful business decisions, you need a
powerful tool that gives you insights from a
huge range of data sources. Customers need
to hear the voice of their data, and that’s why
we’re delighted to be giving attendees in
Mumbai the chance to discover this.”
attack forensics and accelerated incident
response. Additionally, the company has
joined the McAfee Security Innovation
Alliance (SIA) partner programme. Under
the SIA programme, the companies will
work together to integrate ThreatDefend
technology with McAfee Advanced Threat
Defense, providing customers an adaptive
defence solution to combat modern-day
advanced threats.
The Attivo Networks ThreatDefend
Platform creates an in-network deception
environment designed to outmanoeuvre
modern-day attackers and deceive them
into revealing their presence. Changing the
balance of power, the platform makes the
entire network a trap and creates a setting
where what is real and what is not becomes
unclear to the attacker. One wrong move and the attacker’s presence is exposed.
High-interaction network and end-point
deception lures and decoys reduce time to
detection, while automated attack analysis,
high-fidelity alerts, third-party integrations
and playbooks accelerate incident
response. Visibility tools provide attack path
vulnerability assessments and time-lapsed
replays, empowering teams with insight into
attacker lateral movement and security gaps.
With the ThreatDefend solution, customers
can conveniently start with base detection
capabilities and expand platform usage
based upon their business requirements.
Attivo ThreatDefend technology
integration with McAfee ePO ensures
a frictionless deployment of the Attivo
ThreatStrike suite across multiple
endpoints simultaneously.
