In May this year , Google made an exciting announcement with the launch of the new Google Cloud Doha region in Qatar . The launch of the Google Cloud Doha region took place at the Qatar National Convention Centre with Ooredoo as the premier sponsor of the launch event . This is Google ’ s first cloud region in GCC countries .
The new Google Cloud Doha region is now part of the global network of 38 regions and 115 zones that brings Google Cloud services to over 200 countries and territories worldwide . Google Cloud also announced plans to launch Google Cloud regions in Dammam Saudi Arabia , South Africa , and Kuwait .

Mindware ’ s go to market
In June , soon after the launch of the Google Cloud Doha region , Mindware announced signing of its distribution agreement to develop the channel and grow the business across the Middle East and North Africa region . Mindware will promote the Google Cloud portfolio and workspace across the countries of UAE , Qatar , Kuwait , Oman , Bahrain , Yemen , Morocco , Algeria , Tunisia , Libya , Egypt , Jordan , Lebanon , Palestine and Iraq .
