Mimecast announces two senior appointments to support South African operations
Mimecast Limited , an email security and cyber resilience company , has announced the appointment of two key new hires , Moss Gondwe as Public Sector Director and Collin Kunene , as Channel Director , to support its operations in South Africa and bolster its local senior leadership team .
Gondwe , a former IBM and Microsoft executive , will focus on expanding Mimecast ’ s footprint within public sector organisations by working closely with strategic channel partners . With decades of experience , he will also take on a mentorship role , working with the local team to help develop the next generation of Mimecast leaders .
Kunene , who has held senior positions at MTN and Huawei , will draw on his extensive experience in the telco and technology sectors to help drive Mimecast ’ s channel strategy in South Africa and other markets in Africa . As a channel first business , this is an important move for Mimecast as Kunene will focus on continuing the expansion and growth in an already strong network of partners .

Cohesity appoints James Worrall as head of EMEA channels
Cohesity , a next-gen data management company , has announced the appointment of James Worrall as head of EMEA channels . Worrall has extensive experience in building sales channels , having been in leadership roles for networking , enterprise IT and technology start-ups over the last 20 years .
In his role at Cohesity , Worrall will report into the Cohesity global partner organisation , led by Mike Houghton . Worrall has responsibility for scaling the company ’ s EMEA partner ecosystem while advancing the company ’ s go-to-market strategy in the region .
Before joining Cohesity , Worrall was VP of EMEA channel at F5 Networks and EMEA channel sales lead at Juniper Networks .
