STARLINK EXPANDS EGYPT OPERATIONS WITH NEW OFFICE

StarLink , a fast growing specialised cyber and cloud value-added distributor ( VAD ) in the Middle East , Turkey and Africa ( META ) region , recently announced expansion plans for Africa with it headquarters based out of Egypt and inaugurated a brand new office space in Cairo .

The StarLink Egypt office located in the heart of Cairo city is a standalone building , spanning 15,000 square feet , with state-of-the-art facilities and amenities that accommodates all major operational functionalities including sales , business development , services competency centre , StarLink Academy and back-office operations .
According to the VAD , Egypt is strategically positioned to cater to the African continent and StarLink will be advantaged to promote and support its vendors with distribution in North , South , Central , East and West Africa . In addition , the company said it will serve these regions across the continent through its satellite offices in Morocco , South Africa , Nigeria and Kenya .
The company said the latest move is aimed at boosting its plans to operate from close quarters with the channel community , to grow the network and strengthen existing partnerships .

to the vast continent . The country ’ s tech calibre being a huge edge makes it a haven for technical talent which StarLink aiming to capitalise and has strategic hiring plans in the pipeline as part of its regional investment .
According to StarLink , it plans to 100 people in the next couple of years to maximise market reach and accelerate the company ’ s presence and growth on the African continent . StarLink forecasts a closure of US $ 50 million in Egypt alone , this year and hopes to double its revenue to a whopping US $ 100 million with revenue generated from the rest of Africa region .
