We hope this year has been one of success and you’re looking forward to seeing what the new year might bring in terms of upcoming trends within the channel. One of the highlights of the past 12 months for us was attending GITEX Technology Week in Dubai as we were able to speak with industry experts on various channel-related topics. One attendee we spoke to was Software AG. The company exhibited under the theme of ‘Experience Your Smart Connected World’, highlighting the enormous potential of Digital Transformation in the coming decade. In line with the Smart Dubai 2021 vision, Software AG has formed a strategic partnership with Smart Dubai, which is leveraging innovative technology to launch a multi-function iPaaS web Methods (Integration Platform-as-a-Service) technology powered platform. In this issue, Rami Kichli, Vice President, Gulf and Levant at Software AG, tells us about the company’s activities, while we also hear from Jamal Al Mahamid, CEO of Palmira Software House. He explains the company’s relationship with INTELLIGENT TECH CHANNELS INTELLIGENT TECH CHANNELS Issue 26 Software AG, which is helping clients build their ecosystems and the latest eye-catching projects. We also consider some approaches to improving your channel strategy via your partner programme in ‘Editor’s Comment’. We hear from Stephan Berner, the CEO of Help AG, and Christopher Green, Vice President Middle East, Africa and Turkey at Malwarebytes, who offer their views. On the lighter side of things, we get to know Kahina Anseur, Channel and Alliance Manager, Middle East and Africa, ServiceNow; and Anton Jacobsz, Networks Unlimited Africa’s CEO, in the respective Channel Chief pages. And of course, we include our usual features and news stories. We hope you enjoy this edition and please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have anything you would like to share.
