StarLink receives prestigious awards from Palo Alto Networks

StarLink announced receiving two prestigious awards: EMEA
Distributor of the Year Award and EMEA Excellence for Training
Award by Palo Alto Networks at an awards ceremony during their
Annual Partner Summit in Toronto, Canada. StarLink’s partnership
with Palo Alto Networks as its VAD commenced in 2015 and with a
focused and comprehensive expert Sales and Presales team across
EMEA. StarLink has supported Palo Alto Networks and extended
their reach on-the-ground across the region.
This alliance has been instrumental in propelling Palo Alto
Networks Next-Generation Firewall solutions and in aligning
their focus and expertise with StarLink’s vision of a preventative
approach to cyber threats.
Palo Alto Networks Global Awards reflects recognition of top
performing partners in different geographical regions for rising
up to the professional challenges, successfully accomplishing their
global business objectives, for achieving operational excellence and
driving value to enterprises.
Mahmoud Nimer, General Manager, StarLink accepted the
award at the conference. “We are very proud to have received not
one, but two awards this year – especially since we were ranked,
and chosen from all the Distributors at the EMEA level. This is
reflective of our commitment and the value Palo Alto Networks
have entrusted on us.”
Security specialist distributor Spectrami expands into Turkey
Building on the plan to achieve $100 million,
Spectrami, a leading value-added distributor
across EMEA for IT security, data centre
Infrastructure, niche technologies and data
communication networks, has setup an
extended base of operations in Turkey. With
this addition, Spectrami is surely but steadily
moving towards the vision set by the CEO,
Anand Choudha, in which he aims to bring
Spectrami among the top Value-Added
Distributors in the security arena and niche
technologies. This step is taken in line with
their expansion plan to cover the EMEA
market and comes closely on the heels of
their expansion into Germany, and the UK.
The company is already working to
on-board new vendor partners that will
provide the momentum towards this target
to achieve 80% growth in 2018. Leading
their operations in Turkey is Gokhan Bas,
Territory Manager. He has a track record
of experience in IT and Cyber Security
product sales with a demonstrated history
of working in the information technology
and services industry. Skilled in business
planning, IT security solution selling, sales,
team building, and management, he is
also a strong professional graduated from
Istanbul Business School.
