STC Solutions
partners with
Qualsys to deliver
cloud-based
security
Saudi Telecom Company, the largest
telecommunications company in the
Middle East, and Qualys, a global
provider of cloud-based security and
compliance solutions, announced
an agreement to deliver regionally
hosted, cloud-based security and
compliance platform to secure global
digital transformation for enterprises
throughout Saudi Arabia.
Under the partnership, STC
Solutions will integrate and deliver
the Qualys Private Cloud Platform
and its suite of Cloud Apps from its
datacentre in Riyadh to expand its
managed security services offerings
and allow Saudi Arabian enterprises to
consolidate a full range of security and
compliance solutions in a single-pane-
of-glass view.
These offerings provide customers
with 2-second visibility of their security
and compliance posture across all
global IT assets, whether on premise,
in the cloud or on endpoints. The
Qualys Cloud Apps that STC will offer
include Vulnerability Management,
Web Application Scanning, Threat
Protection, Continuous Monitoring and
Policy Compliance.
Ingram Micro
appointed distributor
for Lenovo’s
datacentre portfolio
in Saudi Arabia
Lenovo Datacentre Group DCG, a global
vendor in the provision of optimum end-to-
end data solutions and services, announced
the appointment of Ingram Micro, as its
value-added distributor in Saudi Arabia.

Risk advisory firm SecureLink partners with
hacker-powered, crowdsourced solution
provider Synack
SecureLink, a risk advisory firm based
in Dubai and part of the StarLink group,
announced signing up distribution rights
with Synack for the region. Synack is
disrupting the age-old penetration testing
model by providing a solution that is hacker-
powered, crowdsourced, on-demand, and
actionable, helping clients realistically
defend against cyber-attacks.
Under this alliance with Synack,
SecureLink will bring to this region a full-
service model of disruptive penetration
testing encompassing a trusted, controlled
penetration testing service with the
diversity, continuity and incentive driven-
nature of bug bounty programmes. This is
the first time that a solution of this nature is
being launched in the Middle East.
