Cohesity appoints Seb Fitzjohn to lead European channel strategy

Cohesity has appointed Seb Fitzjohn as Vice President, Partner Channel Sales and GTM, Europe, where he will lead the company’ s partner and channel strategy across the region.

Reporting to Olivier Savornin, Group Vice President of Sales, Europe, Fitzjohn will oversee the development of Cohesity’ s Aspire Partner Programme and work with partners to expand the company’ s go-tomarket activities across European markets.
The appointment forms part of Cohesity’ s continued investment in its European partner ecosystem as organisations increase their focus on data resilience, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.
Fitzjohn joins Cohesity after seven years at ServiceNow, where he served as Vice President of the EMEA partner organisation before becoming Group Vice President of Sales for Northern Europe. His appointment follows the strategic partnership between Cohesity and ServiceNow to support enterprise Artificial Intelligence resilience and recovery.

Infoblox to acquire network observability company Kentik

Infoblox has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire network observability

Scott Harrell, Chief Executive Officer, Infoblox company Kentik in a move intended to expand its network visibility and Artificial Intelligence capabilities. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
Infoblox said the acquisition will combine its DNS, DHCP, IP address management( DDI) and network identity services with Kentik’ s network intelligence and observability platform. The combined offering is intended to provide customers with broader visibility across networks, applications and hybrid and multi-cloud environments while supporting AI-driven operations.

Kentik provides network intelligence and observability by analysing flow data, routing information, cloud logs, synthetic testing and device telemetry across data centres, cloud environments, WANs and the public Internet. Infoblox said combining this data with its DNS and network identity capabilities is intended to give organisations a more complete view of network activity and support troubleshooting and security investigations.
