Climb Channel Solutions, an international specialty technology distributor, has announced its expansion into
South Africa as part of its continued EMEA growth strategy.
With more than 40 years of experience in specialist IT distribution, Climb brings a proven track record of delivering growth for vendors and partners globally to South Africa with a new local operation supported by an experienced in-country team to serve partners across the region.
Alongside its market entry, Climb has signed a distribution partnership with Sophos, a global leader of innovative security solutions, bringing its full portfolio of security solutions to South African resellers and managed service providers( MSPs). The partnership builds on the successful relationship between Climb and Sophos that was first established in North America.

Proofpoint, a leading cybersecurity and compliance company, has announced the formation of Proofpoint MSP Platform – a dedicated business unit serving managed service providers( MSPs) and small and mid-sized businesses( SMBs) – and the North America launch of Proofpoint 365 Total Protection, its AIpowered Microsoft 365 security platform built for the MSP channel.
The MSP Platform business unit was established through Proofpoint’ s acquisition of Hornetsecurity in December 2025, whose proven, channel-first platform now serves as the foundation for Proofpoint’ s MSP business globally. With an international distribution network of 12,000-plus channel partners and MSPs serving more than 125,000 customers across 120-plus countries, that foundation is now being deployed across the North American MSP and SMB market.
