Huawei redefines channel leadership with
appointment of new VP
Huawei, a leading global information and
communications technology (ICT) solutions
provider, has announced the appointment
of Hazem Bazan as the Vice President of
Channels and Commercial Sales, Huawei
Middle East.
Based in Dubai, Hazem will be responsible
for driving the Middle East’s channel sales
operations. Working closely with Huawei’s
senior management team, Hazem will take
up the responsibility of driving Huawei
Middle East channel ecosystem across all
its verticals. Additionally, Hazem will look
to strengthen Huawei’s channel partner
network, develop its Partner Incentive and
Certificate programme and ultimately help
to grow Huawei’s presence in the Middle
East and Pakistan. Alaa Elshimy, Managing
Director of Huawei Enterprise Middle
East said: “Hazem’s unmatched wealth of
experience is a great asset for Huawei and
the industry as a whole, and we are very
delighted to welcome him to the team.

Hazem is an industry veteran in the
region who has previously served in multiple
roles in Dell Technologies, HP, and Compaq.

Excel appoints
new Business
Development
Manager
Excel Networking Solutions, the copper
and optical cabling infrastructure
provider, has appointed a new Business
Development Manager for the Iberian
region of south-west Europe. Susana
joins Excel with a wealth of experience,
having worked in the field for more
than 15 years, including for competitor
companies who have a large market
share in the Iberian region.
David Willems, European Sales
Manager at Excel Networking Solutions,
commented, “I am delighted to
welcome Susana to the international
team. She knows the market well and
her expertise will be pivotal in helping
Excel to secure more market share in
the region.”
He continued, “Working closely
with our Iberia Sales Manager,
Fernando Venegas, Susana will be the
driving force behind our enhanced
communication with key end users and
consultants to help promote the Excel
Solution internationally.”
