Nuvias to distribute Mimecast email security solution in Middle East
Nuvias Middle East and Africa, part of the pan-EMEA high value distribution business Nuvias Group, will distribute solutions from Mimecast, an email and data security company, in the Middle East to support its growth plans across the region.
This partnership is in response to the growing business, customer base and demand for its cloud security solutions in the region. Nuvias will drive business in the area through its channel network and channel programmes. Channel partners will benefit from enablement programmes, technical support and consulting services, backed by qualified experts from both Mimecast and Nuvias.
Mimecast has been making email safer for businesses across the Middle East since 2008. Through its security, archiving and continuity cloud services, the company delivers comprehensive email risk management in one fully-integrated service. Mimecast reduces the risk, complexity and cost traditionally associated with protecting email.

Nexthink ties up with Starlink as regional distributor
StarLink, the region’ s specialised security value added distributor, announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Nexthink, a vendor in end-user experience management. StarLink will sell, install and support Nexthink end-user IT analytics solutions through its extensive network of channel partners to enterprise and government customers in the region.
By combining real-time endpoint analytics and end-user feedback Nexthink helps IT improve business impact. Nexthink’ s unique analytics and visualisations provide new insight and enable IT to adopt proactive operations, reduce costs and ultimately enhance end-user business productivity.
Authlogics signs on distributors EliteVAD in UAE, AxizWorkgroup in South Africa
Authlogics announced that it has appointed UAE based, value added IT distributor EliteVAD, to grow the customer base for its multi-factor authentication platform across Middle East and Africa, focusing on the enterprise market and specifically the financial services sector. The appointment of EliteVAD follows the announcement earlier in January, regarding the expansion of Authlogics across mainland Europe, through its partnership with Portland Europe in The Netherlands. The Authlogics Partner Programme includes independent software vendors, original equipment manufacturers, system integrators and distributors who offer Authlogics authentication solutions.
Previously in November 2016, Authlogics, announced that AxizWorkgroup is its first local distributor and will deliver authentication solutions to resellers in Africa.
