A10 Networks, a global secure application
services company, announced the
appointment of Mohammed Al-Moneer
to the position of Regional Director, Middle
East and North Africa. Al-Moneer, an
industry veteran with over sixteen years
of diversified industry experience, will
be responsible for the overall direction
and management of sales and business
development operations in the MENA
region, while working closely with channel
partners to provide customer centric
solutions to the public and private sectors.
Al-Moneer has held various sales
leadership positions at networking and
other high tech companies. Most recently
at Infoblox, he served as Regional Manager
for Saudi Arabia, where he leveraged his
success in leading the services business
to drive operational efficiencies and
innovation and achieve exceptional growth.
Prior to that he worked as Territory Sales
Manager for Enterprise Servers, Storage
and Networking at Hewlett-Packard.
In his new role at A10 Networks,
Al-Moneer will develop go-to-market
strategies and work with the company’s
global sales and marketing organisations
to define and accelerate channel
recruitment and sales programmes. In
order to leverage customer demand for
high performance application delivery
networking solutions, A10 Networks’
partners need to be able to deliver
strategic counsel and technical excellence
and as such, partner training and
enablement is high up on the agenda.

Global developer Emaar Properties announced appointment
of Veresh Sita, an international technology professional with
expertise in developing customer-oriented solutions and
experiences, as its Chief Digital Officer.
Sita joins Emaar from Alaska Airlines, where he was
CIO, responsible for overseeing an organisation of 300 IT
professionals and investing in the airline’s infrastructure,
enterprise systems and technical innovation. He also has
strong expertise in the real estate sector having worked
as the CIO and Chief Digital Officer for Seattle-based
Colliers International, helping transform its information and
technology services department.
Bringing nearly 25 years of experience in information
technology, Sita is mandated with developing a new digital strategy that will drive Emaar’s
growth. He will also prioritise Emaar’s technology roadmap to assure seamless customer service
delivery and strengthen the company’s agility and responsiveness in a fast-changing landscape.
Sita said: “My focus will be on building high performance teams that love working together and
deliver digital transformation through customer-oriented digital platforms, automation at scale,
product-based developments, and velocity and continuous service delivery.”
As Chief Digital Officer, Veresh will be responsible for developing systems that assure
exceptional client service across multiple geographies. He will also work to deliver the highest level
of IT services and availability on a day-to-day basis needed by the Group’s overall operation. He
will also be a key contributor to the company’s strategic business decisions.
Veresh has also worked as Director Global Business Systems Solutions at Starbucks Coffee
Company, leading the largest business process and systems transformation in the company’s history.
He has been named as Best CIO of a Large Company by the Puget Sound Business Journal in 2013.
Born and raised in South Africa, he has a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and Business
Information Systems from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is
involved in mentoring youth and business professionals.
Commvault appoints Christian Lang as Vice
President Sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa
Commvault announced appointment of Christian Lang as Vice President Sales of Europe, Middle
East and Africa. Responsible for leading and driving the company’s continued growth in EMEA,
Lang joins Commvault bringing 26 years’ experience in the technology solutions industry with a
strong track record of building software and SaaS-based IT businesses across Europe.
Lang comes to Commvault from his most recent position as General Manager and VicePresident Automotive Sales EMEA at IHS, having driven significant fiscal achievement and revenue
growth. Lang also previously held senior leadership positions for multinationals across EMEA,
most notably at Autodesk for 13 years.
His appointment comes after the company’s recently launched Integrated Solutions Portfolio,
including Commvault Data Platform, Commvault Services and Commvault Software, which in its
eleventh version delivers an open, searchable and automated way for organisations to protect
their data, manage information and reduce risk in their adoption of new technologies.
